Keeping Our Communities Safe

In many cases, predator priests are removed from ministry following credible allegations of sexual misconduct but, due to statutes of limitations, are never charged with crime.  As a result, these disgraced clergy do not have to register as sex offenders.  Catholic Church leaders have a moral obligation to warn communities of the potential dangers posed by the presence of these individuals.   Found on this page are a sample letter, and a link to the addresses of all Dioceses and Archdioceses in the United States.
